Wayside Accountant / Construction Site Accounting / PMO Responsibilities Metric computation (for initial estimates and variations) for both unit price jobs and lump sum contracts. Management of subcontractors (accounts payable cycle): work accounting, control of expert estimates, and supplier evaluations. Management of active/passive progress: monitoring work progress status and authorization for the issuance of the active progress report. Work journal: collection of documentation and registration of activities from the Site Manager. Material requirements support. Material reconciliation: assisting the site in closing the job, final material count (accounting for progress). You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
