Social network you want to login/join with: Job Overview For our dynamic and growing Brands division within an established international pharmaceutical company, we are seeking an experienced Medical Affairs field professional. This role requires someone who dares to think beyond the traditional pharma MSL role and operates autonomously in an entrepreneurial manner. It offers the opportunity to develop broadly by engaging in all aspects of the business and managing your own daily activities. Team and Location You will be part of a team of 3 Medical Managers in Italy, responsible for Medical Affairs strategy and project execution. You will also support Sales and Marketing colleagues, with a demonstrated ability to identify commercial opportunities. The position requires residence in Italy, fluency in English for communication with the European Management team, which is based in various locations across Europe, including Amsterdam, Netherlands. You will report to the Lead Medical Managers Europe. Major Tasks & Responsibilities Develop and execute Medical Affairs strategies and scientific projects, including publications and advisory boards. Build peer-to-peer relationships with country KOLs and other influencers using evidence-based information. Support the development and launch of products in melanoma through scientific exchange. Assist with Early Access Program requests for melanoma patients in Italy. Provide business support for Italian marketing, commercial, and market access activities related to Odomzo (sonidegib) for basal cell carcinoma. Lead the approval process for investigator-initiated trials and monitor their progress. Disseminate clinical and scientific information about marketed and pipeline compounds ethically and timely. Establish and support networks in Derma-oncology and other therapeutic areas. Communicate emerging data to experts and respond to healthcare professional inquiries. Support colleagues in organizing HCP events with medical content support. Education and Qualifications Mandatory: (bio)medical or scientific academic degree. Driver’s license. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MSL or Medical Manager in the innovative pharmaceutical industry. At least 1 year of experience in a commercial role within the pharmaceutical industry. Native Italian speaker and fluent in English. Desirable: Experience in Dermatology or Oncology. Desirable: Experience with Early Access Programs in Italy. Technical Skills and Competencies Strong scientific knowledge. Strategic thinking abilities. Knowledge of Dermatology or Oncology. Understanding of regulatory environment and compliance.
