Position: Senior Delivery Specialist Among the European leaders in Wealth Management and Enterprise Risk Management solutions, Prometeia is looking for a Senior Delivery Specialist to join the IT team in its Milan or Bologna office. Role and Responsibilities: The ideal candidate has technical experience and leadership skills to play a key role in managing and coordinating the delivery activities of our software applications. Supporting internal and external customers in the configuration and integration of our products. Contributing to project planning and implementation. Main Tasks: Coordinate Application Maintenance and Delivery activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality, and business objectives. Supervise and mentor junior and mid-level team members. Configure software products for internal and external customers. Plan and manage project activities, including monitoring, reporting, and resource management. Implement and manage microservice environments using Docker and Kubernetes. Manage relational and NoSQL databases to ensure application performance. Implement procedures for integrating customer data to and from Prometeia's products in a cloud environment. Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in similar roles, with evidence of leadership and project management skills. Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure. Advanced skills with relational databases and NoSQL (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra). Ability to coordinate and manage technical and cross-functional teams. Experience in planning, managing, and delivering IT projects. Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (Python, PowerShell). Nice to Have: Experience with Databricks and data analysis tools. Knowledge or experience in object-oriented development (OOP). Certifications in Cloud (Azure) and Project Management (PMP, Prince2, Agile). Strong experience in managing microservice environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Soft Skills: Problem solving skills. Teamwork, flexibility, and adaptability. Good interpersonal skills. Proficiency in English.
