Job Opportunity: AI Engineer in Chieti, Italy We are seeking a talented AI Engineer to join a leading Italian company specializing in IT and Infrastructure Services for Consumer, Enterprise, and Business sectors. The role is based in Chieti, Italy. Within the Artificial Intelligence department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying architecture solutions based on Machine Learning for Artificial Intelligence. You will report to the AI Department Manager and work within a team. The solutions will target both internal company processes and market products and services. Main Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain AI services, working on infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, analysis pipelines, and backend services/applications; Develop AI solutions based on open-source technologies and integrate them into production environments; Conduct in-depth analyses to integrate AI services and third-party proprietary models; Support other company departments in integrating AI services into their processes and environments. Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields; Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining AI and machine learning services, preferably with Generative AI components and Large Language Models (on-premise or as-a-service); Experience in DevOps / MLOps (e.g., Kubeflow or MLflow); Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases; Deep knowledge of open-source machine learning and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, llamaindex, Ollama; Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes; Knowledge of major cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud); Good command of the English language, both written and spoken. Additional qualities such as problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal and communication abilities are valued.
