Job Description Summary As NPI Senior Program Manager, reporting to the NPI Program Director, you will manage a team of PMs and be responsible for developing customer relations while collaborating across company functions to ensure operational excellence on AW249 and Surion Programs. A significant part of the role involves managing contracts and customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction, strengthen long-term relationships, and maximize contribution margin and cash flow, while reporting to Senior Leadership. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Execute strategies for contract improvement. Support the Commercial Team during all phases of an offer, from understanding customer needs to negotiations and hand-over at the Kick-Off meeting. Ensure the achievement of company financial and contractual targets within the allocated budget, including margin expansion initiatives. Regularly review budgets, business plans, economics (REV, GM), financials (collections, costs), and program KPIs with Program Managers. Assess program risks and execute mitigation activities to address key risks. Define program governance with customers. Lead Program Managers to meet milestones in timing, costs, and quality. Coordinate actions with cross-functional teams to address customer concerns and maximize satisfaction. Oversee Program Managers in preparing for the Program Control Board. Ensure configuration control accuracy across programs. Create and implement a people development plan for your team. Motivate and inspire the team to focus on priorities, applying standard work and supporting Lean initiatives. Manage internal reporting to Senior Leadership. Qualifications/Requirements Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. Extensive experience in NPI program management. Strong ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams within a matrix organization. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Ability to develop networks and influence stakeholders. Strong risk management and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels, including top management. Prompt communication skills and a sense of urgency. Lean Practitioner certification or experience. Proven financial management expertise. Availability to travel as needed. Fluent in written and spoken English. Work Visa in accordance with local regulations is required. Desired Characteristics Good knowledge of the aerospace industry. Understanding of Avio Aero processes.
