Job Description

To support our eMobility Global Center of Competence within our business unit Grid Integration, we are seeking a eMobility Tendering and Sales Specialist for heavy vehicle charging infrastructures in the bus and truck segments. How You’ll Make An Impact Support Sales Managers to secure order intake by preparing budgets and firm offers. Understand customer needs and assist the sales team in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions. Support and train local Hitachi sales and tendering teams globally, focusing on regions for eMobility solutions. Lead the preparation of complex offers, attend customer meetings, prepare presentations and negotiation materials, and take ownership of assigned tenders in line with sales and tendering processes. Ensure timely and complete technical and commercial tender submissions, carefully review tender specifications, coordinate with stakeholders (engineering, project management, supply chain, field services), and actively manage suppliers both technically and commercially. Identify target costs and prices to present competitive bids while maintaining profitability. Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful offer preparation. Oversee the integration of supplier offers, conduct risk evaluations, and ensure the completeness of tenders in multinational setups. Hand over successful projects to the project execution and engineering teams, and perform win/loss analyses for submitted offers. Your Background Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. At least 3 years of proven experience in tendering and sales within the industrial sector, specifically for high or middle current DC conversion electrical installations. Knowledge of power electronics and eMobility is advantageous. Proactive, result-oriented professional capable of working with cross-functional and cross-border teams and adaptable to flexible workloads. Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian, German, and/or French is a plus. Additional languages are beneficial. Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
