Job Description: The context: Our client is a fast-growing French startup offering innovative digital solutions that enable wine professionals to manage every step of the production process in real time, significantly reducing energy consumption. Following a major fundraising round and continued growth, we are seeking a Business Developer for the Tuscany and Piemonte Regions, ideally based in Tuscany. Your core duties will involve: Sales Prospecting (85% of the time): As a hunter, you identify opportunities, contact qualified leads, and meet with potential clients to generate new business. You'll manage follow-ups through to closing and retention. Client Portfolio Management: You are the key contact in your area, handle deliveries and equipment installations when needed, and build strong relationships with clients and partners. Reporting and Activity Tracking: You report daily activities and update your pipeline through the CRM to measure KPIs and assist the accounting team with payment tracking when needed. Events: Occasionally participate in events and trade shows. About you: You have at least 2 years of professional experience in selling high-value products, preferably in B2B. You have a strong interest in the wine sector and new technologies. You are known for your autonomy, high energy, and resilience. Your friends would describe you as enthusiastic. You have a strong customer focus and excel at collaborating effectively with different teams, including technical and after-sales service teams. You are fluent or native in Italian and English.
