This role requires someone willing to think beyond traditional pharma MSL roles and operate autonomously in an entrepreneurial manner. It offers broad development opportunities, engaging in all aspects of the business and managing your own daily activities. Team and Location You will be part of a team of 3 Medical Managers in Italy, responsible for Medical Affairs strategy and project execution, as well as supporting Sales and Marketing colleagues with a commercial mindset. You should reside in Italy and communicate fluently in English, liaising with the European Management team based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Major Tasks & Responsibilities Develop and execute Medical Affairs strategies and scientific projects, including publications and advisory boards. Build relationships with KOLs and healthcare leaders, utilizing evidence-based information. Support product development and launch in melanoma through scientific exchange. Assist in Early Access Program requests for melanoma patients in Italy. Support business activities related to Odomzo (sonidegib) for basal cell carcinoma. Lead and monitor investigator-initiated trials. Disseminate clinical and scientific information ethically and timely. Engage with networks in Derma-oncology and other TAs. Communicate emerging data and respond to HCP inquiries. Assist colleagues in organizing HCP events with medical content support. Education & Qualifications Mandatory: (Bio)medical or scientific degree. Driver’s license. Minimum 3 years of experience as MSL or Medical Manager in innovative pharma. At least 1 year in a commercial role within pharma. Fluent in Italian and English. Desirable: Dermatology or Oncology experience. Desirable: Experience with Early Access Programs in Italy. Technical Skills & Competencies Strong scientific knowledge. Strategic thinking. Knowledge in Dermatology or Oncology. Understanding of regulatory environment and compliance.
