Senior Workday Time Tracking & Absence Configuration Analyst, Novara This global organisation undergoing a multi-phase HR transformation and Greenfield Workday implementation is seeking a Workday Time Tracking & Absence Consultant to join their expanding HRIS team. This is a fully remote , permanent role based in Italy or Spain. You will lead the configuration and optimisation of the Time Tracking & Absence modules, working closely with internal stakeholders and the implementation partner. Location: Remote (Italy or Spain) Contract: Permanent About the Role: This hands-on role involves actively configuring Workday, shaping business processes, and ensuring a successful rollout of Time Tracking & Absence functionalities within a broader transformation program. Key Responsibilities: Act as the functional and configuration lead for Workday Time Tracking & Absence Design, configure, and test business processes collaboratively with Workday consultants and internal teams Translate business needs into scalable Workday configurations Execute core configuration tasks (eligibility rules, time codes, accruals, etc.) Support integration with time clocks, payroll, and third-party tools Lead SIT, UAT, and parallel testing Create training documentation and conduct user training Provide post-go-live support and knowledge transfer to internal teams Requirements: 4–5 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience (Time Tracking & Absence) Workday implementation experience (in-house or consulting) Strong understanding of HR, time, and absence business processes and compliance Ability to work independently on complex configurations Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven Interested in this opportunity?
