Join to apply for the HBU Risk Manager role at Hitachi Energy The opportunity BU Grid Integration, HBU Europe is looking for a Risk Manager to lead the Risk Management and Risk Review process in close collaboration with Sales & Tendering, Management of HBU Europe, and the Risk Management Function of Grid Integration. The Risk Manager will ensure all risks related to customer offers of HBU Europe are identified, assessed, responded to, and mitigated. The HBU Risk Manager will represent HBU Europe in Risk Reviews and be a member of the HBU Europe Controlling & Risk Management organization. The role's location is flexible, ideally colocated with major HE locations in Europe. How You’ll Make An Impact Ensure risks are identified and assessed in each tender, with mitigation actions defined, liabilities appraised, and profitability based on the standard Full Cost Model. Review and validate offers prepared by the Sales team during Risk Review processes to ensure compliance with Group, Company, and BU directives. Attend and facilitate Risk Reviews with representatives from HBU, GPG, BU, and/or the Company, as per approval levels. Update the Risk Review Tool timely and diligently before and after meetings, with agreed actions documented. Summarize main contractual aspects and circulate to Risk Review participants. Provide training and guidance on Risk Management to the Grid Integration HBU Europe organization. Contribute to establishing a state-of-the-art Risk Management process within HBU Europe — BU Grid Integration. Your Background Master’s degree Fluent in English (oral and written); additional languages are advantageous. Experience in Risk Management, Sales, Tendering, Project Management, or Contract Management. Experience in international project business and customer dealings. Self-driven, with a focus on risk mitigation and process compliance; capable of providing senior expert advice. Ability to provide feedback on Risk Management performance and process improvements. Skilled in training and increasing risk awareness within the organization. Excellent communication skills for global collaboration and leadership engagement. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and process orientation.
