Site Finance Director About the role: This role manages one site located in Aprilia, Italy, with an operating headcount of over 600 employees. The FD will serve as the face of Finance at the local site level, which is a key strategic site within the Haleon network. The core objective is to contribute to high-level strategic discussions while also maintaining a hands-on, operational approach. Key Responsibilities: Recruit, manage, and develop the site’s finance staff to ensure efficient accounting operations. Be accountable for all statutory and corporate financial statements, reports, and analysis for the site. Liaise with auditors, tax, and legal advisors, providing necessary information and support. Manage the local annual audit. Operate as a board member for the Aprilia legal entity. Lead the annual plant budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring timeliness and compliance. Partner with the Site Director and leadership team to build and execute the site’s strategic vision, aligning business cases with Haleon’s goals. Develop accurate product costing and variance reporting, implementing system improvements as needed. Participate in the Site Leadership Team, providing financial analysis, insights, and decision-making support related to manufacturing operations. Engage with management to drive financial performance and cost control. Establish and maintain internal control procedures and compliance systems in line with corporate policies and GAAP. Review and control plant capital requests and conduct financial analyses for investments. Lead strategic projects such as new product development, capital investments, and continuous improvement initiatives. Build strong partnerships within finance and the broader organization to ensure site goals and compliance. Support global transformation and improvement programs relevant to the site or finance function. Manage legal entity tax obligations, including VAT, CIT, and relationships with tax authorities. Supervise transfer pricing calculations and adjustments. Manage local treasury services, including relationships with banks and credit institutions. Oversee debt collection, insurance coverages, customs procedures, and related formalities. Maintain contractual relationships with third parties relevant to finance activities. Manage interactions with the Supervisory Board (ODV) on finance topics. Requirements: Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, MBA). Experience in financial management and operations within a global organization. Strong knowledge of financial modeling, analysis, evaluation, and forecasting. Experience working in cross-functional teams and matrix environments. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build networks within finance and business units.
