Your Responsibilities: Lead the Grid Edge Solutions Business. Strategy leadership: Develop and implement business strategies for profitable growth, supporting the group strategy. Budget: Prepare annual operating plans (budgets) and be accountable for their execution and achievement. Hold primary profit & loss (P&L) responsibility, including top-line and bottom-line targets, return on capital, and cash flow. Market leadership: Continuously develop and manage the products, solutions, systems, and service portfolio to achieve and secure global market leadership. Competitiveness: Drive new business activities and start-up initiatives. Ensure competitive design and operation of the value chain/global footprint in line with market specifics. Global mindset: Optimize business on a global scale, leveraging the Group’s local and global resources and its global reach. Organization: Define, in close consultation with corporate, and the countries and regions, an organizational structure to support business strategies aligned with corporate goals and guidelines. People Leadership: Build and foster high-performing, collaborative teams across diverse cultures and environments. Your Background: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years in the energy sector. Experience in alternative energy, renewables, and energy storage is a plus. Must have work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States. Proven leadership in a collaborative environment, driving performance through high-performing technical talent across multiple locations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills at an enterprise level. Experience in building and managing cross-functional teams. Strong technical operations experience leading a global business with a diverse location footprint. Experience with change management and executing transformational initiatives. Ability to leverage broad networks inside and outside the organization. Demonstrate behaviors embodying Hitachi Energy's core values: Harmony, Sincerity, and Pioneering Spirit. Understanding of LEAN or Six Sigma practices for operational efficiency. Track record of delivering innovation and driving results using design thinking or similar methodologies.
