Junior Frontend Developer - React.js/TypeScript

Responsibilities : - Provide technical leadership and guidance to the front-end development team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. - Lead and contribute to the architectural design and development of complex front-end applications. - Drive the adoption of best practices in front-end development, including code standards, testing methodologies, and performance optimization. - Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and provide constructive feedback to designers. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Next.js (with a focus on leveraging Next.js capabilities where applicable). - Implement and enforce adherence to design patterns and software engineering principles within the team. - Collaborate closely with back-end developers, product managers, and designers to deliver seamless and integrated user experiences. - Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing within the team. - Identify and address performance bottlenecks and implement solutions for optimal application speed and responsiveness. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in front-end technologies and advocate for their adoption where beneficial. - Contribute to the planning and estimation of front-end development tasks and projects. - Mentor and coach junior and mid-level front-end developers, fostering their technical growth and skill development. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex front-end issues. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools. Requirements : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - 2 to 4 years of progressive software development experience with a strong specialization in front-end development. - Demonstrated experience in leading teams or projects, showcasing organizational and delegation skills. Deep and comprehensive understanding of front-end architecture and core technologies : - HTML (semantic and accessible) - CSS (modern methodologies, preprocessors like Sass/Less preferred) - JavaScript (ES6 standards) - TypeScript (strong proficiency) - React (experience with component-based architecture, state management libraries like Redux or Context API, and routing) - GraphQL (experience with data fetching and management) - Next.js (strong familiarity and ideally hands-on experience with server-side rendering, routing, and deployment) - Strong proficiency in applying design patterns and adhering to software engineering best practices and principles. - Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities. - A meticulous approach to software development with a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions and attention to detail. - Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - - Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. - Preferred Skills : - Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and their front-end deployment services (e.g., AWS Amplify, Netlify, Vercel). - Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress). - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and front-end deployment processes. - Experience with performance optimization techniques for front-end applications. - Familiarity with UI/UX principles and accessibility guidelines.
