DevOps Engineer - AWS Infrastructure

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our AWS-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline our deployment processes, enhance system stability, and implement robust monitoring and security measures. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong foundation in AWS services and a passion for automation and continuous : - Design, implement, and manage robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines on AWS. - Configure, optimize, and maintain Apache and NGINX web servers for high performance and availability. - Provision and manage AWS infrastructure, including IAM, VPCs, subnets, EC2 instances, and load balancers. - Implement and maintain high-availability and scalable data storage solutions such as Redis clustering, RDS (MySQL, Aurora), S3, and MongoDB (including MongoDB Atlas). - Develop and manage API Gateways and routing using Route 53 and Lambda functions. - Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions using CloudWatch and other relevant tools. - Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application deployment issues in a timely and efficient manner. - Contribute to the setup and management of containerization and orchestration technologies such as ECS, Fargate, and Docker (preferred). - Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform (preferred) or equivalent tools. - Integrate and configure development tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, and Selenium (or equivalent AWS services) into the CI/CD pipeline (preferred). - Manage Git configurations, setup, and branching strategies to ensure effective version control. - Implement and monitor code security best practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle. - Collaborate with development teams to understand their infrastructure and deployment needs. - Document infrastructure configurations, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting steps. - Participate in on-call rotations as needed to ensure system availability. - Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and DevOps best : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in managing AWS CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure. - Proven experience in setting up and tuning Apache and NGINX servers for high performance. Solid experience in managing various AWS services, including : - IAM (Identity and Access Management) - VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) setup and subnetting - EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) and Load Balancing - Redis clustering - RDS (Relational Database Service) setup and tuning (MySQL, Aurora) - S3 (Simple Storage Service) - CloudWatch (monitoring and alert setup) - MongoDB setup (including MongoDB Atlas) - API Gateway - Route 53 - Lambda functions - Experience in setting up and tuning MySQL databases. - Experience in implementing and managing error logging, monitoring, and alert systems. - Strong understanding of Git configuration, setup, and management. - Knowledge of code security implementation and monitoring practices. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong communication and collaboration Skills : - Working experience with ECS (Elastic Container Service), Fargate, and Docker. - Experience with microservice setup and deployment. - Knowledge of configuring and using tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Terraform, and Selenium (or equivalent tools in AWS). - Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash. - Experience with agile development methodologies. - AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate).
