For the Imaging and Animal Models department of our research center based in Geneva (Switzerland), we are looking for a: Physics Research Assistant (F/M) Mission: Conduct experimental laboratory activities in medical ultrasound acoustics, including device testing, contrast agent characterization, acoustic modeling and image processing Activities: Under the responsibility of the Physics lab manager, you will have to perform the following tasks: Conduct laboratory experimentation in the field of ultrasound Physics using custom test benches, including signal acquisition and processing Test new applications for acoustic responsive agents, in the domain of ultrasound imaging and therapy Prepare in vitro models Process signal and images Be involved in pre-clinical imaging and therapeutic studies Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in applied Physics Strong knowledge in applied Physics in the field of wave and fluid mechanics, ideally complemented by a life science background Ability to provide expertise and establish experimental protocols Experience in scientific software and instrumentation programming (Matlab, Python, Labview) Excellent writing skills Fluency in French & English (both oral and written) Highly motivated, rigorous and effective problem-solving skills Teamwork oriented We offer : An international company working on medicinal products with high added value An extremely stimulating field of research within a highly specialized and qualified scientific environment A work environment with state-of-the-art technologies Flexible working hours with possibility of home office A challenging job with means to succeed and possibilities for continuing education Permanent contract – full time If you recognize yourself in this profile and are looking for a new challenge, send us your complete application (CV & letter) via JobUp jidc3fac6cafr jit0519afr
