Business Development Manager

Just Recruitment is working with a growing organisation, based on the outskirts of Colchester, they are looking to add a 'Business Development Manager' to their existing team - this opportunity would suit a candidate that wants to grow and develop their sales career, within a successful and well-regarded business, where further training and career development is offered. The ideal candidate will be a team player as well as being self-motivated to strive for improvement across the business. They will be highly organised and capable of managing a dynamic workload whilst relishing working with internal and external stakeholders. Key duties include: Manage the existing customer network - order taking, account reviews and general support Develop new direct business, building long-term, sustainable partnerships Develop new direct B2B opportunities in the UK and other regions Respond to regular in-bound business enquiries Monitor and respond to tender opportunities Work closely with the Marketing team to develop imaginative lead generation campaigns Key requirements for this role: A tenacious and hungry business developer capable of multi-tasking and constantly hunting new opportunities Financially numerate Experience of CRM platforms Ability to work as part of a team to drive the business forward Ability to quickly understand and demonstrate products Excellent interpersonal and written skills Ability to work to demanding deadlines Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm Offering a very attractive salary and bonus package for the right candidate.
