Snowflake DBA

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Snowflake DBA for a 6-month contract role starting ASAP. This is a hybrid position, requiring partial on-site presence in Norwich, UK. Role Overview: As a Snowflake Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and securing Snowflake environments, optimizing performance, and ensuring governance and data integrity. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and maintain Snowflake accounts, database objects, and virtual warehouses * Oversee data security, governance, and sharing via Snowflake Data Exchange & Marketplace * Perform database monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning * Handle disaster recovery, backups, and replication * Utilize ANSI and Snowflake SQL Essential Skills & Experience: * Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake, SQL, and AWS * Proven database administration experience with a DB such as SQL Server, Exadata, Teradata etc. * Familiarity with AWS services related to data and infrastructure * Excellent communication skills with experience in client-facing roles Contract Details: * Location: Hybrid (Norwich, UK) * Duration: 6 Months * Start Date: ASAP (in the next 2-4 weeks) * Rate: Competitive day rate inside IR35 If you have the relevant skills and experience, please apply promptly and we will be in touch to discuss your application further.
