Mechanical Fitter Rate: £22-£25 p/h DOE (Outside IR35) Location: Wigan Initial 3-Month Rolling Contract Monday-Friday (Days) Our client is a well-established and respected name in bespoke material handling solutions, as they continue to expand across sectors like automotive, aerospace. This is a long-term opportunity on a variety of exciting installation projects. Role Overview: You'll be involved in both workshop assembly and onsite installation of complex systems including conveyor lines, vacuum lifters, overhead cranes, and gantries. Day-to-Day Duties Include: Mechanical fitting & assembly in the workshop On-site mechanical installations across the UK Mix of workshop (50%) and site work (50%) Working on Conveyors. Overhead cranes, and manual handling equipment What We're Looking For: Time-served mechanical fitter or similar background Experience with conveyors, overhead cranes, and manual handling equipment Comfortable working across various locations and staying away when needed A proactive team player with good attention to detail Flexible to travel to site Manufacturing background preferred Shift Details: Standard Workshop hours: Mon–Fri, 7:30am–4pm (39 hrs/week) Accommodation and travel paid for when working away Weekend work available depending on the project Long-term contract potential – lots of ongoing work Diverse project exposure across sectors I am looking to speak to talented Mechanical Fitter, who are looking for a rewarding and challenging technical position.
