This role pays a competitive rate of:Umbrella Rate - £50-£60 an hour umbrella depending on experience.PAYE (Inc Hol) - £44.48 - £53.27 Responsibilities as an Governance Locum Lawyer : Working on the review of the Combined Authority's constitution. Developing a scheme of delegation with colleagues in the Finance Department. Supporting the Independent Remuneration Panel with their review of remuneration of certain roles. Working with colleagues in the Finance Department around the Annual Governance Statement and ensuring continuous monitoring against any actions. About you as an Governance Locum Lawyer : Public sector/local authority experience Experience in governance, including experience in reviewing constitutions and developing schemes of delegation At least 3 years PQE in Governance Law.
