Fire Safety Consultant

A respected fire safety consultancy is looking for a knowledgeable Fire Safety Consultant to deliver expert guidance across a range of sectors including housing, commercial, and education. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Fire Safety Consultant seeking varied work, flexible arrangements, and a clear path to senior leadership. The Fire Safety Consultant's Role The Fire Safety Consultant will be responsible for carrying out detailed fire risk assessments (Type 1-4), writing fire strategy reports, and ensuring full regulatory compliance under the Fire Safety Order 2005 and associated legislation. The role will also involve liaising with key stakeholders, attending design team meetings, and providing expert consultancy on passive and active fire safety measures. Working across live and new-build environments, the Fire Safety Consultant will ensure that all safety provisions are robust, proportionate, and tailored to each site. The Fire Safety Consultant Minimum Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment qualification (IFE/IFSM recognised) NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent desirable Experience across residential, commercial or public sector portfolios Good working knowledge of PAS 9980, BS 9997, and Building Regulations Confident in report writing and communicating technical detail to clients Membership with the IFE or IFSM is highly desirable In Return? £45,000 - £55,000 starting salary Car allowance or travel expenses covered Hybrid/home-based role with regional travel CPD funding and training support Private healthcare and enhanced pension options Progression towards Senior and Principal level roles If you're a Fire Safety Consultancy looking to grow your career, please contact Lauryn Simpson at Brandon James.
