Job Description
The ideal candidate will bring 15 years of experience in enterprise software or IT solutions sales, with a proven ability to consistently close large, complex deals and ideally having billed $ 1 million gross profit annually. Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership: Drive revenue growth through strategic sales of enterprise software solutions across South Africa and broader regions as applicable. Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify, pursue, and close new enterprise accounts while deepening relationships with existing clients. Quota Attainment: Consistently meet or exceed annual sales quotas (targeting $ 1 million GP). Solution Selling: Consultatively sell complex IT software products and solutions tailored to clients needs and environments. Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a strong, qualified sales pipeline and accurate forecasting. Stakeholder Engagement: Navigate C-level conversations and influence decision-making across IT, procurement, and business leadership. Team Collaboration: Work closely with presales, marketing, product, and delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction and solution alignment. Market Insight: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving client needs to refine the go-to-market strategy. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 15 years software sales experience, with a strong emphasis on enterprise-level accounts. Proven track record of individual annual sales of $ 1 million in gross profit or equivalent. Deep understanding of enterprise software sales, including SaaS, cloud solutions, and digital transformation initiatives. Demonstrable ability to manage long, complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders. Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills. Experience with CRM tools Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience in executive-level engagements. Self-starter mindset with high levels of motivation, resilience, and autonomy. Desirable Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or a related field Experience in the South African and broader African enterprise software market.
