Role Summary As Scrum Master / Agile Lead, you will play a critical role in enabling productivity and delivery within the engineering, QA, data, DevOps, and security teams. You'll manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies while helping to remove blockers, improve team performance, and contribute to overall delivery outcomes. If you’re passionate about Agile practices, love working remotely, and enjoy being at the heart of a dynamic SaaS environment, this is your opportunity Key Responsibilities Manage prioritised backlog across cross-functional teams Track and oversee deliverables for assigned Scrum teams Coach team members in Agile practices and foster continuous improvement Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives Manage quarterly burndown charts for your teams Collaborate with stakeholders (Product Owner, Development, QA, and Security leads) Plan work allocation across upcoming sprints Act as team advocate and assist in issue resolution with data-based insights Identify and remove team impediments Support backlog creation and grooming with the Product Owner Monitor and communicate team performance metrics (e.g., velocity, logged hours) Conduct QA testing for feature enhancements Provide business analysis support where capacity allows Assist with support queries through Slack and GitLab, including triage and prioritisation Required Experience 5 years of Agile project management experience in a software development environment Proven track record in a SaaS or data-intensive product context Comfortable working with fully remote and distributed teams Technical & Tool Proficiency Agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) Tools such as GitLab, Heap Analytics, Asana, and Intercom (preferred) Domain Knowledge (Advantageous) Experience in inventory management, supply chain, or ERP systems Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Project Management, or equivalent experience Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, PMP, or similar) preferred  Preferred Qualifications Experience with ERP system integration (SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks) Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture General Linux proficiency  Working Environment Fully remote, South Africa-based Occasional in-country travel for company meetups Hardware provided, including UPS for power backup Requires secure, stable, high-speed fixed-line internet Monthly internet subsidy provided Supportive, inclusive, and collaborative remote team culture If you don’t hear from us within two weeks, it likely means your application wasn’t successful this time.
