Creditors Manager

Requirements: Grade 12 - With Mathematics and/or Accounting as subjects 3-5 years in similar role managing a team Relevant tertiary education beneficial Previous experience/interest in logistics beneficial Duties: Understand and comply with IFRS for SMES Contribute to annual audit process for the group (pre-yearly audit meetings, coordination of Finance managers) Managing external stakeholder relationships (Shipping Lines) within defined parameters Share with FM/Group FM of weekly / monthly /quarterly progress / problem areas Identifying opportunities by evaluating current business trends, best practise research and principles Working closely with all business units to enhance and promote positive feedback loops and improvements Works closely with all managers and teams coaching and mentoring the teams development and professional skills Improve and drive cross-functional team collaboration through accurate and focused forms of communication Updates job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations Identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement Support the FM to execute the finance strategy ensuring operational alignment with established plans and policies Manage and support their teams ensuring that they remain consistent with the businesss overall strategy Mentor key personnel in their business area, ensuring their constant professional growth, and assisting them in the execution of their duties where necessary People and team management of direct reports Managing resource capacity and cross skill growth opportunities Developing and growing people, focusing on the teams core strengths and skills Building and maintain a healthy talent pool for this business unit Ensuring participative leadership and strong communication within the team Collaboration with all business areas Coaching and peer to peer learning PLEASE NOTE : Thank you for your interest in this position, we will review and be in touch if you are suitable.
