Inbound Logistics Consultant

Location : Monterrey Area Skillset : Strong background in carrier and 3PL management in Northern Mexico region Job Summary: As an Inbound Logistics Consultant at Volvo, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the flow of goods from suppliers to our manufacturing facilities. Your strong background in carrier and 3PL management will be essential in ensuring the efficient, timely, and cost-effective transportation of materials. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and oversee inbound logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of materials. Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and third-party logistics providers (3PLs). Implement and monitor performance metrics to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics process. Identify and resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain. Collaborate with suppliers to optimize transportation routes and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Prepare and analyze reports on logistics performance and recommend improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in inbound logistics or supply chain management. Proven experience in carrier and 3PL management in the Northern Mexico region. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
