We are seeking to fill a position for an important manufacturing company: Packaging Buyer The candidate will join the Strategic Procurement Department and report directly to the Head of Direct Purchases, actively contributing to the management of packaging suppliers. Specific responsibilities include: Strategic management of the supplier portfolio Scout for new suppliers, conduct market tests, and allocate business Negotiate economic and contractual supply conditions (timelines, costs, quantities, quality) Achieve savings targets by collaborating with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing Manage prototype orders and pre-series for their categories Manage design modifications, including occasional transfers to clients or trade shows Requirements: Diploma and/or Degree in Economics, Engineering, or similar fields At least three years of experience within a Procurement Department in structured environments Good knowledge of English language Proficiency with Google Suite Proactive and dynamic attitude Work location: Quistello Working hours: 08:00/09:00 to 17:00/18:00, with 6 days of smart working per month Contract: Permanent employment Salary: €35,000 - €43,000 over 13 months internal bonuses internal cafeteria Grafton is the global brand responsible for Gi Group's Professional Recruitment, Italy's leading multinational employment agency and a major provider of HR services worldwide.
