The team of 50 employees, located in South Milan, has a very low turnover due to a unique team spirit and growth mindset since the re-launch. Job Description The Chief Improvement Officer (CIO), reporting directly to the Owner, will oversee and implement strategic initiatives aimed at improving overall organisational and manufacturing performances. Responsibilities include: Assessing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with departments to drive change and achieve operational excellence. Analyzing financial and operational results to propose strategies for profitability and growth. Overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and strategic alignment. Developing and implementing operational processes and best practices. Leading cross-functional projects for process improvements. Using data analytics to inform the CEO and measure initiative impacts. Collaborating with the CEO and management to define and execute long-term strategies. Monitoring KPIs and managing resources effectively. Managing relationships with external partners and stakeholders. Ideal Candidate Profile Preferably holds a Master’s degree from top universities in business, management, or related fields; an MBA is highly valued. Proven experience in industrial manufacturing process improvement, project management, or operations management—preferably in strategic consulting, private equity, or corporate strategy within manufacturing companies—is essential. Key skills include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, proficiency in data analysis tools, familiarity with methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma, and leadership qualities to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
