We are currently seeking a Quality Control & Expediting Engineer with a solid understanding of industrial, power, or chemical plant quality control principles, eager to contribute to the energy transition industry. The Quality Control Engineer will report to the Quality Control Manager. Preferred candidates will have previous experience in QC engineering roles within engineering/manufacturing sites or similar industries, or relevant QC activity experience in related fields. Responsibilities include: Creating, reviewing, and approving Project Inspection and Test Plans based on contractual requirements and internal standards. Reviewing and approving vendors' procedures such as welding books, NDE procedures, PWHT procedures, and hardness test procedures. Reviewing and approving Inspection and Test Records, including Final Manufacturing Record books (MRB), and issuing Inspection Release Notes. Coordinating external inspectors globally. Managing NCRs, including creation, discussion, and closure. Performing inspections during manufacturing and at final stages, including NDE, hydrostatic tests, etc. Providing QC support to internal and external customers, maintaining good relationships. Ensuring QC targets are met and proactively addressing potential issues to meet delivery schedules. Promoting company culture and QHSE policies, fostering a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. Qualifications and Knowledge: Master's degree is a plus. Experience in welding, fabrication, and NDE techniques. Knowledge of major codes like ASME, EN, PED, Machinery Directive, ISO3834, AWS D1.1, etc. CSWIP 3.1 and NDE Level II in Radiographic interpretation are desirable. European welding certification and painting certifications (NACE/FROSIO) are desirable. Languages: Italian and professional English are mandatory. Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad.
