Safety Assurance Engineer

Position Details: Location options include Bologna, Roma, or Bari, with a flexible schedule of 10 days/month of smart working. The Role The selected candidate will report to the Regional Center Safety Manager and will be responsible for managing safety assurance activities across various projects, ensuring the delivery of safe solutions. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating all safety assurance activities on projects Performing safety analyses, managing hazard logs, and reviewing engineering activities from a safety perspective Defining safety plans and managing safety workloads and schedules Supporting tenders and teams in integrating products into projects Building safety reports and safety cases Applying safety assurance methodologies Participating in and contributing to periodic safety reviews Defending safety case arguments before internal and external assessors Additionally, the role involves defining and following up on action plans to address findings from assessors. Educational and Professional Requirements An advanced university or engineering degree 1-2 years of experience in a similar safety assurance role across industries such as automotive, medical, aerospace, or railway Good knowledge of safety standards (preferably CENELEC or equivalents like AREMA, IEEE) and safety methodologies and principles Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders in an international environment Resilient and proactive attitude Human Value conducts activities of executive search and selection (Aut.
