Job Scope Support the implementation of policies and activities related to Environment, Health, and Safety at Work. The Environment Health & Safety Specialist supports the EHS DSI department in implementing policies and programs related to Environment, Health, and Safety at Work for the Diasorin Italia S.p.a. sites (Saluggia, Bresso, and Turin). Key Duties And Responsibilities Support to the EHS team for activities aimed at ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company expectations regarding Environment, Health, and Safety at Work. Constant updating of risk mapping and assessment at Diasorin Italia S.p.A. sites (Saluggia, Bresso, and Turin), ensuring employees training and the registration of the distribution of necessary PPE. Collaboration with other departments for the drafting of DUVRI within the competence of the EHS department, ensuring the constant updating of the EHS suppliers portal. Collaborate in the analysis and investigation of incidents (injuries, first aids, and near misses), identifying root causes and implementing related action plans, ensuring sharing with all involved company departments. Identification of proposals for improving safety and accident prevention systems to minimize the risk of injuries and incidents. Constant updating of the "Safety Organization" in line with the company's organizational reality. Support to the Integrated EHS Management System Responsible for maintaining the system according to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards for all the Diasorin Italia S.p.A. sites. Conducts regular inspections at Diasorin Italia S.p.A. sites (including field inspections and supplier audits) and internal/external audits on environment and workplace safety, following ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification standards, contributing to the company's continuous improvement process. Supports the EHS department in emergency management and periodic checks of fire and first aid equipment. Supports the EHS department in organizing and conducting communication campaigns on EHS topics to contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture at Diasorin Italia S.p.A. sites. Collaborates in the approval process of MSDS as well as the drafting and revision of the same concerning finished and semi-finished products, as well as non-hazardous declarations. Support in coordinating the digitization process of EHS activities (Health & Safety processes and procedures). Collaborate with the EHS team for the implementation and review of EHS procedures using company tools. Collaborates operationally with the EHS team in managing issues related to environmental permits, keeping track of periodic deadlines. Within the EHS function, collaborates operationally with the Waste Management Manager on legislative compliance in terms of waste disposal (management software, loading/unloading, and forms) and supervision of the disposal areas. Education, Experience, And Qualifications Bachelor or Master’s Degree in a Technical-Scientific field. Training in the chemical/pharmaceutical/biological sector is considered a plus. At least 3 years of experience in a similar position or equivalent roles, preferably within chemical/pharmaceutical/biological sector. Knowledge of EHS regulations both in workplace safety (D.Lgs 81/2008) and environmental legislation (D.Lgs 152/2006). Qualification as ASPP or RSPP. Preferable training and specific experience in the chemical/biological sector (MSDS, REACH). Preferable knowledge of management systems according to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards. Experience with Lean methodologies, 5S, or Kaizen. Experience in planning or managing EHS initiatives. Dynamism, personal initiative and willingness for continuous improvement. Good critical and practical sense, proactivity. Problem-solving skills. Communication skills. Adaptability and flexibility.
