Junior Welding Process Engineer, Cremona This role involves supporting the success of Chart Industries, a company specializing in shell and tube heat exchangers for critical industries like refining, petrochemical, fertilizer, and offshore sectors. The successful candidate will report to the Welding Manager within the Quality team and will be supported in professional growth aimed at developing autonomous skills. We seek recent graduates with excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, passion, and a desire to grow in the field of welding and boilers. Key Responsibilities: Prepare welding technical documentation (WPS, PQR, procedures) according to ASME / EN codes and project specifications. Develop and maintain welder qualification certifications (WPQ). Attend welding courses for skill enhancement. Collaborate with design and production teams on job orders. Work with the quality team to resolve welding issues and manage nonconformities. Select appropriate filler materials for each project. Monitor welding process performance and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Qualifications and Requirements: Recent graduate in Mechanical or Materials Engineering or related field. Interest in mechanics and industrial skills development. Proficiency in English. Knowledge of international codes such as ASME, ISO. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and 2D modeling software. International welding certification (IWE/IWT) is a plus. No prior experience required.
