Social network you want to login/join with: Job Description For our dynamic and growing Brands division within an established international pharmaceutical company, we are seeking an experienced Medical Affairs field professional. This role requires someone who dares to think beyond the traditional pharma MSL role and wishes to operate autonomously in an entrepreneurial manner. It offers the opportunity to develop broadly by engaging in all aspects of the business and managing your own daily activities. You will join a team of 3 Medical Managers in Italy and will be responsible for developing and executing Medical Affairs strategies and projects. You will also support Sales and Marketing colleagues, with a demonstrated ability to identify commercial opportunities. Candidates must reside in Italy, speak English for communication with the European Management team, and report to the Lead Medical Managers Europe, based in various locations across Europe, including Amsterdam, Netherlands. Major Tasks & Responsibilities Develop Medical Affairs strategies and execute scientific projects such as publications and advisory boards. Build and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with country KOLs, influencers, and healthcare leaders using evidence-based information. Support the development and launch of products through scientific exchange, particularly in melanoma. Assist with Early Access Program requests from HCPs in Italy for melanoma patients. Support business activities related to Odomzo (sonidegib) for basal cell carcinoma in Italy. Lead the approval process for investigator-initiated trials and monitor their progress. Disseminate clinical and scientific information about marketed and pipeline products in a compliant and ethical manner. Develop and support networks in Derma-oncology and other therapeutic areas. Communicate emerging data to experts and respond to healthcare professional inquiries. Assist colleagues in organizing HCP events with medical content support. Education & Qualifications Mandatory: (Bio)medical or scientific academic degree. Driver’s license. Minimum 3 years of experience as an MSL or Medical Manager in the innovative pharmaceutical industry. At least 1 year of experience in a commercial role within the same industry. Native Italian speaker and fluent in English. Desirable: Dermatology or Oncology experience. Desirable: Experience with Early Access Programs in Italy. Technical Skills & Competencies Strong scientific knowledge. Strategic thinking abilities. Knowledge of Dermatology or Oncology. Understanding of regulatory environment and compliance.
