Senior Data Scientist - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning

Job Summary : As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing and deploying advanced machine learning models, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs), to solve complex business problems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and data science solutions into products, enhance algorithms, and ensure high-quality model performance. Key Responsibilities : - AI and ML Model Development : Lead the development of machine learning models, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing (NLP) models, particularly focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs). - LLM Expertise : Develop, fine-tune, and optimize state-of-the-art LLMs for various tasks such as text generation, summarization, question answering, and classification. - End-to-End ML Lifecycle : Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI modelsfrom data preparation, feature engineering, and model training to deployment, monitoring, and model retraining. - Python Programming : Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code for model implementation, data processing, and automation of data pipelines. - Data Management & Analytics : Work with large, complex datasets and apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to extract insights and predictions. - Collaboration with Stakeholders : Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define AI product roadmaps, translate business needs into technical requirements, and ensure AI models are scalable and operational. - Performance Optimization : Monitor model performance in production, troubleshoot issues, and optimize model efficiency and scalability. - Research and Innovation : Stay abreast of the latest AI/ML trends, tools, and research in the field of large-scale NLP and Skills & Qualifications : - Experience : 7-12 years of experience in data science, machine learning, AI, and NLP, with a strong focus on Large Language Models (LLMs). Technical Expertise : - Proficient in Python and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers, NumPy, Pandas, etc. - Extensive experience in training and fine-tuning LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT, T5, etc.) for real-world applications. - Strong background in natural language processing (NLP) techniques, including text classification, named entity recognition (NER), text generation, summarization, and sentiment analysis. - Knowledge of deep learning architectures, including CNNs, RNNs, and Transformers. Data Engineering Skills : - Experience with big data tools and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) for processing large datasets. - Proficient in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data wrangling. - Model Deployment & Scalability : Familiarity with deploying AI models at scale using cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). - Communication : Excellent communication skills to articulate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Education : Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
