Production Support Engineer - MERN Stack

Job Title : MERN Stack Production Support Engineer Location : Chennai, Hyderabad Experience : 5-9 : - Provide technical support for MERN stack applications in a production environment. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the full stack, including frontend, backend, and infrastructure components. - Investigate and resolve issues related to developer IDEs (VS Code, IntelliJ, etc.) and Copilot Extensions across various OS environments (Windows, Mac, Virtual Desktops). - Diagnose and resolve network-related issues, including those related to firewalls, proxy settings, and telemetry. - Utilize strong debugging skills to analyze and resolve problems using tools such as Postman. - Write and execute medium to complex SQL queries to analyze data and troubleshoot database-related issues. - Debug full-stack applications built with ReactJS, NodeJS, Lambda, and microservices architectures (APIGEE, APIs). - Monitor application performance and identify areas for optimization. - Analyze logs (CloudWatch logs) to identify and diagnose issues. - Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployments and releases. - Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24x7 support for critical systems. - Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and best practices. - Contribute to the development of support processes and tools. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and support : - 5-9 years of experience in a production support role, supporting full-stack applications. - Strong experience troubleshooting MERN stack applications (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js). - Experience troubleshooting developer IDEs (VS Code, IntelliJ, etc.) and Copilot Extensions in different OS environments (Windows, Mac, Virtual Desktops). - Familiarity with firewalls, proxy settings, and telemetry. - Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in AWS and Azure. - Proficiency in analyzing logs, specifically CloudWatch logs. - Strong debugging skills, including experience with Postman. - Ability to write and execute medium to complex SQL queries. - Experience debugging full-stack applications built with : a. ReactJS b. NodeJS c. Lambda d. Microservices architectures (APIGEE, APIs) - Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and services (AWS, Azure). - Experience with monitoring tools and techniques. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a Qualifications : - Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines. - Knowledge of ITIL best practices. - Experience with other logging and monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, New Relic). - Relevant certifications (AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator).
