Job Position : Dotnet Developer Experience : 3 Yrs Location : Pune Notice Period : Immediate - 30 days Skills Required : Mandatory : VB.NET, SQL Server, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API Good to Have : Knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and experience in production support Job Responsibilities : Communication & Collaboration : - Proficient in English with strong communication skills to interact with business users effectively. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and customers to ensure smooth operations. Application Support & Troubleshooting : - Provide L2 and L3 support for incidents, service requests, and enhancements with a strong technical and functional understanding of the applications. - Quickly grasp application knowledge and transition from current team members to ensure seamless support. - Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose the best remediation strategies. Incident & Ticket Management : - Handle and triage reported issues, manage service tickets, and coordinate upgrades of third-party software. - Ensure timely resolution of issues while maintaining service level agreements (SLAs). Process & Operational Improvements : - Identify and recommend operational improvements and report them to the Support Lead or Regional Tower Lead. - Ensure adherence to best practices in application support and development. Testing & CI/CD Support : - Support testing activities by creating test data, executing test cases, and validating fixes. - Maintain and monitor CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools from a support perspective. Enhancements & Development : - Work on small to medium enhancements for existing applications. - Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and application components using VB.NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server. Qualifications & Experience : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - Proven experience in VB.NET, SQL Server, ASP.NET, and Web API development & support. - Experience in application troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Exposure to ITIL practices for incident and problem management is a plus. - Ability to work in a fast-paced support environment with tight deadlines (ref:hirist.tech)
