Cloud Database Administrator Experience : 45 years. Job Description : We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Database Administrator with 45 years of hands-on experience in managing and optimizing cloud-based database systems. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in AuroraDB, DocumentDB, and/or any PostgreSQL or Oracle database systems. Key Responsibilities : - Manage, maintain, and optimize cloud-based database systems (AuroraDB, DocumentDB, PostgreSQL, or Oracle). - Perform database backups, recovery, performance tuning, and capacity planning. - Implement database security and ensure compliance with organizational standards. - Monitor database health and automate routine tasks. - Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to support database requirements and performance goals. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database availability, integrity, and performance. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 45 years of experience as a Database Administrator, with a focus on cloud databases. - Proficiency in at least one of the following : Amazon AuroraDB, Amazon DocumentDB, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. - Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS). - Strong knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and high availability concepts. - Hands-on experience with database performance tuning and monitoring tools. - Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools is a plus. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
