Quality Assurance Engineer - FIX Protocol

Role : Senior QA Automation EngineerFIX Protocol (Capital Markets). Location : Pune. Work Mode : Hybrid. Immediate joiners or up to 30 days notice period preferred. We Are Hiring Senior QA Automation Engineer (Capital Markets). Join our dynamic team as a Senior QA Automation Engineer, where you will play a key role in designing and optimizing automation frameworks for trading systems and financial applications. This role requires strong experience in Cucumber (or similar frameworks), FIX protocol, Unix/Shell scripting, and Java, with a solid understanding of the trade lifecycle and capital markets. You will collaborate with traders, analysts, and developers to implement robust automated solutions, improve operational efficiency, and support high-performance trading environments. Experience with Python and CI/CD pipelines will be an added advantage. Job Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and optimize automation frameworks for trading systems and financial applications. - Create automated solutions for testing and operational workflows to improve efficiency. - Work closely with traders and financial analysts to enhance automation strategies for market operations. - Develop and maintain FIX (Financial Information Exchange) protocol connectivity for trading platforms. - Troubleshoot FIX messaging issues and optimize system performance for seamless trade execution. - Strong hands-on experience in scripting languages (Unix, Python, Perl, Shell, etc.) and automation tools. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and external vendors, to enhance automation efficiencies. - Design and execute end-to-end automated test suites for API testing. - Analyze and optimize existing test processes to improve overall quality and reduce time-to-market. - Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing. Requirements : - Experience 6-8 years in QA. - Automation Cucumber Framework or Similar. - FIX protocol. - UNIX/Shell script. - Equities background/ Capital Markets required/Trade LifeCycle. - Should have Experience in Java. - Basics of Python will have an added advantage.
