Senior MERN Stack Developer

Job Description : Senior MERN Stack Developer Position Title : Senior MERN Stack Developer Location : Work from office Sector 132 ( Hybrid 3 times a week) Type : Full-Time Experience : 6 Years About the Role : As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining modular services and user interfaces in a modern microservices-based environment. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver highly available, testable, and observable systems that power our platform. Key Responsibilities : - Design and develop microservices using Node.js, Express, and TypeScript - Build responsive web interfaces using React with clean component architecture - Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, middleware, and integration layers - Implement unit and integration tests using Mocha or Jest - Integrate with SQL/PostgreSQL databases and ensure performant queries - Use Docker to containerize applications and services - Leverage AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.) for cloud deployments - Manage source control and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or GitLab - Integrate PowerBI dashboards and reports within the platform - Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and documentation Must-Have Skills : - 8 years of experience in full-stack or backend development - Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and Express.js - Strong experience with React and modern frontend practices - Hands-on with SQL & PostgreSQL including schema design and query tuning - Working knowledge of Docker and container orchestration principles - Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure basics - Solid understanding of REST APIs, error handling, and async programming - Proficiency in unit testing and test automation (Mocha, Jest, etc.) - Version control and CI/CD knowledge using GitHub/GitLab pipelines Good to Have : - Familiarity with PowerBI integration or embedded analytics tools - Experience with serverless patterns using AWS Lambda - Exposure to message queues (e.g., SQS, RabbitMQ) - Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, etc.) (ref:hirist.tech)
