GRC Analyst - IT Risk Management

Responsibilities : Risk Management Support : - Assist in the identification, assessment, and analysis of potential risks (operational, financial, strategic, compliance, etc.) across the organization. - Support the development and maintenance of risk registers and risk treatment plans. - Follow up on risk mitigation activities and track their effectiveness. - Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures. Compliance Management Support : - Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. - Support the development and dissemination of compliance-related communications and training materials. - Assist in conducting compliance audits and assessments. - Track and follow up on compliance-related action items and remediation efforts. Governance Support : - Assist in the development and maintenance of corporate governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. - Support the preparation of materials for governance-related meetings (e.g., board meetings, committee meetings). - Assist in the tracking and implementation of governance-related decisions and action items. GRC Tool Utilization : - Utilize and maintain GRC tools and platforms for risk assessment, compliance tracking, and audit management. - Assist in the configuration and customization of GRC tools. - Generate reports and dashboards from GRC tools. Documentation and Reporting : - Maintain accurate and organized GRC-related documentation, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and compliance records. - Assist in the preparation of GRC-related reports for management and other Collaboration : - Collaborate with various departments and business units to gather information, provide guidance, and promote a culture of risk awareness and compliance. - Support internal and external audits and reviews. Continuous Improvement : - Stay updated on relevant regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices in GRC. - Identify opportunities for improving GRC processes and Skills : - Master's/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Information Technology, or a related field. - 4 years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) roles. - Strong understanding of risk management principles and methodologies. - Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, SOX, sector-specific regulations). - Experience with GRC frameworks and best practices. - Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. - Ability to handle confidential information with Skills : - Experience with specific GRC tools and platforms (e.g., Archer, ServiceNow GRC, MetricStream). - Knowledge of audit methodologies and practices. - Certifications in risk management, compliance, or audit (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CCEP). - Experience in a specific industry relevant to our organization. - Basic understanding of data privacy and security principles (ref:hirist.tech)
