SAS Developer - ETL/SQL/Python

Role Overview : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Analyst / SAS Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing very large datasets, developing insightful reports based on business requirements, and creating efficient SAS code for data manipulation and analysis. You will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable intelligence, contributing directly to data-driven decision-making within the : - Manage and process very large and complex datasets from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity. - Develop and implement efficient SAS code for data extraction, transformation, manipulation, and loading (ETL) processes. - Design and generate insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations based on specific business requirements using SAS reporting tools or other BI platforms. - Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs, translating them into technical specifications. - Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing valuable insights to the business. - Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all reports and analyses. - Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely resolutions. - Maintain and optimize existing SAS programs and reporting processes. - Document data processes, code, and reporting methodologies. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data analysis techniques, SAS technologies, and business intelligence tools. Skills Required : Skills : - Proven experience in managing and analyzing very large datasets. - Strong proficiency in developing SAS code for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting (e.g., Base SAS, SAS Macro Language, SAS procedures like PROC SQL, PROC REPORT, PROC TABULATE, etc. - Experience in developing reports based on business requirements, with a strong understanding of data visualization Skills : - Experience with other data analysis or business intelligence tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau, Power BI). - Familiarity with different database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL). - Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). - Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques. - Experience in data quality management and data governance practices. - Understanding of data modeling concepts. - Experience working in an Agile environment (ref:hirist.tech)
