Senior Quality Engineer - Selenium/TestNG

Required Experience & Skills : - Minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing. - Substantial prior project experience (minimum 5 years within the 6-10 year total) in Finance domain projects, preferably within Insurance, Banking, or Asset Management firms. - Good Functional Understanding of the Finance Domain, covering areas such as general accounting, payables, asset management, procurement, and vendor onboarding related functions. - Proven experience in testing End to End Finance Reconciliation Processes. - Strong skills in analyzing functional specifications and business requirements to develop comprehensive and effective test cases. - Ability to write average complexity SQL queries, with specific experience in handling Personally Identifiable - Information (PII) data appropriately during testing activities. - Hands-on experience with QA automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks to write and execute test scripts. - Experience in executing functional testing, regression testing, and other relevant test types. - Ability to identify, document, and track software defects accurately. - Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working with development, business analyst, and business teams. Key Responsibilities : - Analyze and understand complex functional specifications and business requirements for financial applications. - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios. - Perform extensive functional testing across various finance domain modules, including general accounting, payables, asset management, procurement, and vendor onboarding. - Execute thorough End to End testing of Finance Reconciliation Processes. - Write and execute SQL queries to support testing activities, including data setup, validation, and handling PII data securely. - Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or other relevant automation frameworks. - Identify, document, and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testability, improve quality, and resolve issues. - Contribute to test planning, test strategy, and test reporting activities. - Ensure adherence to testing processes and quality standards. Good to Have Experience : - Experience in implementing or working with Testing Automation that utilizes AI-powered tools. - Experience with file transfer and scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys), including checking job dependencies and performing Level 1 analysis on job failures.
