Senior DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Job Title : Senior DevOps Engineer (710 Years Experience) Location : Hyderabad Job Type : Full-Time Experience Level : Senior / Lead Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will lead initiatives to enhance our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployments. You will work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available systems. Key Responsibilities : - Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions. - Manage and automate cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. - Implement infrastructure as code and ensure environment consistency across dev, staging, and production. - Monitor system performance, availability, and security using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog. - Manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE). - Optimize system reliability, scalability, and performance. - Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues. - Establish and enforce DevOps best practices and security standards. - Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams to support product delivery. Required Skills : - 7 to 10 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or System Administration. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go. - Deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration. - Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). - Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (ELK, Splunk, Prometheus). - Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, load balancers, DNS. - Experience in securing cloud-native and containerized applications. Preferred Qualifications : - AWS/GCP/Azure certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer). - Experience with GitOps and ArgoCD/Flux. - Background in Agile/Scrum environments. - Familiarity with zero-downtime deployment strategies and blue/green deployments. - Knowledge of compliance standards (SOC2, ISO27001, HIPAA, etc.) (ref:hirist.tech)
