Vsquare Systems - Senior PL-SQL Developer

Job Description : We are looking for a Senior PL/SQL Developer with over 4 years of solid experience in PL/SQL development, and working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Python scripting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in writing optimized PL/SQL code and stored procedures, while also having exposure to modern data workflows and scripting for automation or integration. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with relational databases at scale and is enthusiastic about integrating cloud services and automation into data Responsibilities : - Develop, optimize, and maintain complex PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers for high-volume data operations. - Collaborate with business analysts and data engineers to understand data requirements and implement efficient SQL-based solutions. - Design and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) logic using PL/SQL and Python where required. - Use Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage) for data integration, analytics, and storage. - Develop automation scripts in Python for data ingestion, validation, and reporting tasks. - Optimize database performance, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot PL/SQL issues. - Assist in migrating legacy data processes to cloud-based solutions and participate in cloud adoption initiatives. - Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and best Skills : (7080%) : - Expert in PL/SQL development in Oracle environments. - Deep understanding of relational database concepts, performance tuning, and query optimization. - Experience with large datasets, complex joins, indexing, and partitioning Cloud Platform (10%) : - Exposure to GCP services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, etc. - Ability to integrate on-prem data with cloud solutions. - Basic understanding of GCP resource management and (1020%) : - Ability to write clean and modular Python scripts for data transformation, API consumption, or automation tasks. - Experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or basic data processing Level : Mid-Senior level (ref:hirist.tech)
