TPF Developer - C/C++

Job Description : We are seeking an experienced TPF (Transaction Processing Facility) Developer to join our dynamic team in the airline domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TPF development, with expertise in designing, coding, debugging, and testing complex systems. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities : - Break down technical requirements into actionable tasks for iteration planning with the Scrum team. - Collaboratively code, test, and build software according to requirements and acceptance criteria. - Support the Technical Product Manager in preparing requirements for upcoming iterations. - Maintain high code quality standards. - Continuously improve development processes with support from the Scrum Master. - Participate in code reviews and implement best practices. - Create High-Level Designs (HLD) for new features and enhancements. - Support deployment and feature release processes. - Participate in sizing processes for new development tasks. - Design, code, debug, and test TPF applications. - Troubleshoot issues in test and production environments. - Collaborate with other development teams to deliver new capabilities. - Innovate to improve application stability and performance. - Translate business requirements into detailed implementation plans. - Assist in developing software technical documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications - Proficiency in TPF development, including TPFDF and TPFC. - Experience with development and Continuous Integration (CI) tools. - Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux systems. - Familiarity with programming languages such as Assembler and C/C++. - Strong understanding of the airline industry, particularly in areas like flight operations and crew assignment. - Experience in developing applications within the airline domain. - Experience with z/TPF systems. - Familiarity with Sabretalk programming language. - Knowledge of system integration and performance tuning. - Experience in mentoring junior developers.
