Data Scientist - Machine Learning

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Data Scientist with 57 years of deep expertise in data science, ideally within domains such as Healthcare, Financial Services, Insurance, and Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field and demonstrate proven hands-on experience in developing scalable data science solutions. This individual will play a key role in evaluating analytical approaches, designing robust models, and mentoring team members in best practices and implementation strategies. Responsibilities : - Apply machine learning and statistical methods to build GenAI solutions (LLM, RAG, Agents), predictive models, and advanced algorithms. - Design and implement production-ready ML pipelines to support high-traffic, real-time systems. - Analyze complex datasets to generate insights and provide data-driven recommendations. - Develop and deploy predictive models to enhance business decisions and operational efficiency. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into core business platforms and systems. - Define data strategies that ensure data integrity, governance, and alignment with business goals. - Independently solve customer challenges using data science and ML techniques. - Lead collaboration efforts between data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI solutions. - Build and maintain robust data pipelines and ensure smooth integration of diverse data sources. - Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, overseeing deliverables and stakeholder coordination. - Maintain clear documentation of models, algorithms, and data workflows. - Stay current with advancements in AI/ML and apply relevant innovations to solve business problems. - Translate business requirements into effective, data-driven solutions using domain knowledge. - Share expertise and promote best practices across the team. - Develop models in NLP, recommendation systems, ranking, classification, and pattern recognition. - Troubleshoot issues in data pipelines, models, and infrastructure. - Create and maintain APIs for model deployment and lifecycle management. - Promote continuous improvement and learning within the team. - Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve data science processes. - Monitor and retrain models using automated pipelines in the Azure environment. - Design and implement Knowledge Graphs (e.g., using Neo4j). - Contribute independently and collaboratively to the team's success. Requirements : - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. - Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms, model design, and ML engineering tools. - Expertise in hyperparameter tuning, model optimization, explainability, drift, and bias management. - Demonstrated experience as a Data Scientist or Data Science Developer. - Proficient in Python and building production-level APIs. - Solid understanding of SQL and experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark). - Strong mathematical background, particularly in statistics and algebra. - Experience working with LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, Copilot, etc.) and RAG architectures. - Skilled in prompt tuning, instruction tuning, and fine-tuning large models. - Experience with ML frameworks such as Keras, PyTorch, and libraries like scikit-learn. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. - Proficient in data wrangling, preprocessing, and visualization using tools like Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib. - Experience with distributed computing and large-scale data processing. - Familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). - Practical experience in NLP tasks such as sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and text classification using tools like spaCy, NLTK, and Gensim. - Advanced skills in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and data modeling to derive insights from complex datasets.
