Snetaj is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Golang Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of robust, scalable backend systems using Golang, serve as a key technical liaison with clients, and provide mentorship to a team of developers. We're seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can take full ownership of projects, and contributes both as a technical expert and a team leader. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex backend systems using Golang. - Act as a primary technical point of contact for clients, understanding requirements and delivering scalable solutions. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding junior developers and promoting best practices. - Own end-to-end project delivery, including hands-on coding and issue resolution. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers. - Maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and testing. - Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce scalable development practices. - Contribute to the technical roadmap and align backend development with business goals. - Document technical specifications and architectural decisions for future reference. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 10 years of software development experience, with 8 years in Golang. - Strong expertise in backend development, including microservices, APIs, and distributed systems. - Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. - Expertise in using Git and modern version control workflows (e.g., GitFlow). - Practical experience in Agile/Scrum environments. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design innovative backend solutions. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the team. - Proven track record of mentoring and leading development teams. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with other programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Contributions to open-source projects or active involvement in the developer community.
