Quality Assurance Engineer - API/Automation Testing

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead our automation efforts and ensure the quality of our applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both API and UI automation, with proven hands-on experience using Java and Selenium. You will be responsible for independently designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks, developing comprehensive test suites, and contributing to the overall quality assurance : - Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable automation frameworks for both API and UI testing. - Write high-quality, maintainable, and efficient automated test scripts using Java and Selenium. - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure thorough test coverage. - Configure and manage on jobs for scheduled execution of automated tests. - Independently drive automation initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and recommend best practices. - Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation testing into the CI/CD pipeline. - Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers. - Contribute to the development and improvement of QA processes and methodologies. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in automation testing. Key Requirements : - Proven experience in both API and UI automation testing. - Strong proficiency in Java programming language. - Mandatory hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation. - Demonstrated ability to independently design, develop, and implement automation frameworks from scratch. - Experience in creating and maintaining test cases, test suites, and test plans. - Experience configuring and managing cron jobs for scheduling automated test execution. - Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills : - Experience with other API testing tools (e.g., RestAssured, Postman). - Experience with mobile automation testing (e.g., Appium). - Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Experience with performance testing and security testing. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
