Creant Technologies - Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer - AWS Platform

Job Description : We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to lead and enhance our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. In this role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and automation to drive efficiency, scalability, and reliability. You will be a key contributor to our cloud strategy, ensuring seamless delivery of applications and services. Key Responsibilities : Cloud Infrastructure Management (AWS) : - Design, implement, and manage highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS. - Optimize AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.) for performance and cost-effectiveness. - Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation. - Manage and optimize network infrastructure within AWS. CI/CD Pipeline Automation : - Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. - Automate build, test, and deployment processes to achieve continuous delivery. - Implement automated testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end). - Implement and manage Artifact repositories. Containerization And Orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) : - Build and manage Docker containers for application deployment. - Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration. - Implement Kubernetes best practices for scalability, security, and performance. - Manage and implement Helm charts. - Manage and implement Istio or similar service mesh technologies. Configuration Management And Automation : - Automate server provisioning and configuration management using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. - Develop and maintain scripts in Python, Bash, or other relevant languages for automation tasks. - Implement and manage configuration as code practices. Monitoring, Logging, And Alerting : - Implement and manage monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch. - Configure and manage centralized logging using the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or similar tools. - Set up alerting mechanisms and incident response procedures. - Implement and manage distributed tracing solutions. Security And Compliance : - Implement and enforce cloud security best practices. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (i.e., SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR). - Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments. - Implement and manage security scanning tools. Troubleshooting And Performance Optimization : - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the entire cloud infrastructure. - Optimize application and infrastructure performance. - Conduct performance testing and analysis. Required Technical Skills : - Cloud Platforms : Expert-level knowledge of AWS services. - CI/CD : Proficiency in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions. - Containerization And Orchestration - Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with Helm. - Experience with Service mesh. - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Extensive experience with Terraform or CloudFormation. - Configuration Management : Proficiency in Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. - Scripting and Programming : Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash. - Monitoring And Logging - Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, and AWS CloudWatch. - Experience with distributed tracing. - Operating Systems : Advanced Linux system administration skills. - Networking : In-depth understanding of networking concepts and protocols. - Databases : Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases. - Version Control : Proficiency in Git. - Security : Knowledge of cloud security best practices. Required Experience : - 6-8 years of professional experience in Cloud DevOps engineering. - Proven experience in designing and managing complex cloud infrastructure. - Strong experience in automating CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployments. - Experience with large scale kubernetes deployments. Soft Skills : - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work effectively in1 an Agile environment. - Proactive and self-motivated. - Leadership skills. - Certifications (Preferred) - AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional. - Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). - Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (ref:hirist.tech)
