Our team is a key part of Keysight’s central research and development organization, Keysight Laboratories. This team delivers instrument infrastructure to be used by other Keysight development teams around the globe. You will help research, create, validate, and implement instrument infrastructure IP involving industry-leading technology in a highly collaborative development environment. About the Team: You will be part of a growing and dynamic R&D team located in Barcelona (Spain) that works with colleagues in the USA and other countries around the world. We are looking for a talented, motivated, and experien ced R&D FPGA / Embedded SoC Engin eer to create value for Keysight through technology innovations for a fast-growing test and measurement market. Responsibilities: Work closely with product architects on understanding FPGA infrastructure requirements. Implement new FPGA features to extend existing capabilities to cover the needs of the next generation products, key markets, and applications. Drive the broader development, testing, and production pr ocess. Required Qualifications: University degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with a focus on FPGA. Strong HDL (Verilog, SystemVerilog) development skills. Highly capable to quickly develop, debug and troubleshoot issues at multiple layers in the system architecture, from FPGA simulation to the software driver layer. Several years of experience designing and implementing complex high-performance systems involving interconnect (PCIe) and network (Ethernet) technologies. Desired Qualifications: Experience with Xilinx devices and Vivado toolchain. Strong understanding of FPGA validation, simulation, static timing analysis and timing constraints. Experience with QuestaSim and VHDL. Familiarity with test and measurement instrument architectures, Embedded Linux, SoC (FPGA/ARM), distributed/edge computing. Programming skills in C++, C#, and scripting languages (Python, TCL). Proficiency with continuous integration and version control. Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology. Solid understanding of digital circuit design and schematics. A keen problem solver with a positive, team-oriented approach and a proactive and eager nature for designing and developing solutions to challenging problems.
