Job Description
General Description: This role is responsible for strategically leading growth initiatives and driving the commercial success of our C.R. England Mexico division. This role develops and executes customer experience, sales and pricing strategies that align with business objectives - enhancing customer satisfaction while ensuring project profitability and successful new business development. Then position plays a key role in strengthening client partnership and ensuring cohesive collaboration across all departments to achieve company goals. Duties and Responsibilities: A person in this position performs the following functions: · Actively participate in pricing negotiations and support the Procurement and Pricing Manager and Sales managers in managing the client portfolio. · Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring service levels and company goals exceed expectations. · Identify growth opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and implement ROI-driven strategic business decisions. · Drive commercial strategies that support revenue generation and coordinate implementation across departments. · Ensure internal alignment and communication of corporate goals, strategies and priorities across the operations team. · Provide strategic leadership to the Sales, Procurement and Operations team ensuring execution of initiatives to meet organizational goals. · Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost cost efficiency, profitability and revenue growth. · Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and lead internal efforts to stay aligned with regulatory changes. · Monitors and evaluate industry trends, best practices to recommend new strategies to the Executive Committee. · Collaborate with cross-performing teams and department leaders to drive strategies that support company goals. · Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams including operations managers, dispatch, sales and procurement. · Develop and lead business continuity plans to mitigate any disruptions including but not limited to weather events, labor shortages, or any other that could possibly affect or jeopardize the day-to-day operations. · Standardize and improve customer and business partners experience by implementing best practices and process efficiencies. · Provide regular performance updates and strategic insights to Executive Committee and Truckload Services President. Working relationships: · EC Members · OTR · Sales · Pricing · Maintenance Qualifications / Skills Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening, and presentation) Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset with a data-driven approach. Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and shifting priorities. Deep understanding of the transportation and cross-border logistics industries including trends, regulations, and key players. Strong leadership and team development capabilities. Strong business acumen and results orientation. Work experience Requirements 10 years of successful leadership experience in logistics and transportation industry. · Strong professional network within the logistics and transportation industry. · Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and · Expertise in continuous improvement methodologies. · Proven track record of successfully building business operations and relations with clients in the transportation and logistics industry. Education, experience, and Licensing requirements Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Business or related. MBA in business administration, logistics or related preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint) CRM systems, Transportation Management Systems and data analytics tools. Others Fluent in English, in both written and verbal communications. · Availability to travel up to 50-60% at times Availability to work after hours or weekends, as needed.
