Job Description : Company name : Willware Technologies. Employment Type : Full time. Work Mode : Hybrid (Bangalore, Hyderabad). Experience : 5 Years. Shift : 24/7 Support. Responsibilities : - Provide 24x7 support for critical customer applications, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. - Proactively monitor application health and performance using observability platforms like Splunk and Dynatrace. - Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive dashboards and alerts in Splunk and Dynatrace to identify and address potential issues proactively. - Perform in-depth analysis of alerts and incidents to diagnose root causes and implement effective solutions. - Utilize ServiceNow or other ticketing tools to manage incidents, problems, and changes according to ITIL best practices. - Contribute to the development and maintenance of knowledge base articles and documentation in Confluence. - Leverage Jira for tracking tasks, managing projects, and collaborating with development and other operations teams. - Write and execute SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting. - Participate in weekly and monthly status review calls, providing updates on service delivery performance, incident trends, and improvement initiatives. - Contribute to the implementation and adherence to ITIL methodology and best practices within the team. - Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, and security, to resolve issues and implement solutions. - Participate in post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and implement preventative measures. - Contribute to the development and maintenance of service level objectives (SLOs) and service level agreements (SLAs). Qualifications : Mandatory / Must have : - Minimum of 5 years of experience in an SRE or similar application support role. - Flexibility to work in a 24/7 application support environment, including rotational shifts. - Extensive hands-on experience with Splunk, including creating dashboards, configuring alerts, monitoring application logs, and performing in-depth analysis of alerts. - Proven experience with observability platforms such as Dynatrace, including creating dashboards, configuring alerts, and analyzing performance data. - Hands-on experience with Jira for issue tracking and project management. - Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries. - Hands-on experience with Confluence for documentation and knowledge management. - Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise-level ticketing tool, preferably ServiceNow. - Strong understanding and practical application of ITIL methodology and practices (e.g., Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to diagnose complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions. - Demonstrated experience in governance activities, including handling weekly and monthly status review calls for overall service delivery. - Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Nice to have : - Experience with other monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). - Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell scripting) for automation tasks. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Understanding of DevOps principles and practices. - Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Relevant certifications ( ITIL, SRE Foundation). - Experience in performance tuning and capacity planning.
